Overview
What is a Listing Pass?
A digital NFT “Pass” that grants the holder the right to have their project, protocol, or product listed on the Ethos Network website for 1 year.
How long is it valid?
Passes must be redeemed within 3 years of purchase. Redemption permanently burns the Pass.
Auction Details:
Passes are sold via a Dutch auction. All sales are final — no refunds.
The dutch auction will start as a bi-weekly occurrence
Transfers:
Passes are transferable. A 5% fee applies to any secondary sales, automatically collected via the smart contract.
Who can list?
Only upcoming or launching projects (no personal or individual listings).
Other Key Points:
Ethos can add or remove listings at any time, even without a purchased Pass.
Listings can be locked for future voting (at the holder’s request) for the full 12-month period, but will remain visible on the project profile unless Ethos determines otherwise.
Ethos can mint promotional Pass NFTs and airdrop them to select users, but will ensure that airdropped NFTs never exceed the number of passes sold via auctions.
Support:
Listing coordination is done through help.ethos.network.
Full Terms
1. Definitions and Service Overview
A Pass is a non-fungible token (NFT) granting the holder the right to coordinate with Ethos for one (1) project, protocol, or product listing on the Ethos Network website for a 12-month period.
Passes must be redeemed within 3 years of purchase. Upon redemption, the Pass is burned (permanently removed and non-transferable).
Ethos-Added Listings: Ethos may add listings to the platform at any time, without requiring an auction. Ethos retains full rights to add, modify, or remove such listings at-will.
2. Eligibility and Content Standards
Listings are only for upcoming or launching projects. No individual users or unrelated content are allowed.
Ethos reserves the right to approve, reject, or remove any listing at its discretion.
3. Auction and Purchase Terms
Passes are sold via Dutch auction (price decreases until a user purchases).
All purchases are final and non-refundable.
Ethos reserves the right to cancel or adjust any auction for technical, legal, or other reasons.
4. Transferability
Passes can be transferred or sold on secondary markets.
A 5% transfer fee is automatically applied to all secondary transfers.
5. Expiration and Redemption
Unredeemed Passes expire after 3 years.
Redemption triggers a burn (the Pass is permanently invalidated).
6. Coordination and Responsibilities
Pass holders must coordinate listings through help.ethos.network.
Locked Listings: At the purchaser’s request, a listing may be locked for future voting during its 12-month term. The listing will remain visible on the project profile as long as the listing feature exists, unless otherwise determined by Ethos.
You must provide accurate, lawful, and complete project information.
7. Minting and Promotional Passes
Ethos may mint and airdrop Pass NFTs for promotional purposes at its discretion.
Ethos will ensure that the total number of airdropped passes never exceeds the number of passes sold via auctions, and these promotional NFTs are intended to remain limited.
8. Legal & Liability
Ethos Listings are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.
Ethos is not liable for any outcomes or damages resulting from listings or Pass usage.
You agree to indemnify Ethos for any claims related to your content or actions.
You are responsible for any applicable taxes arising from the purchase, transfer, or sale of a Pass.
9. Additional Terms
Force Majeure: Ethos is not responsible for events beyond its control (e.g., blockchain outages, regulatory changes).
Compliance: The Pass is a utility token, not a security or investment product.
Public Data: Transactions and wallet addresses are visible on the blockchain. Ethos does not conduct KYC or store user data.
10. Governing Law and Changes
These terms are governed by Delaware law.
Ethos may update or amend these terms at any time.
