Base earnings from yield and periodic rewards are modified by multipliers that reflect your standing in the network. The intent is to create compounding advantages for sustained, trustworthy participation — the most committed users earn disproportionately more.
The four multipliers
There are four multipliers, and they stack multiplicatively on top of your base earnings:
Base Earnings x Credibility (0–2.5x) x Streak (1–2.75x) x Validator (+0.1x/NFT) x Delegation (1.2x)
Here's what each one does:
Credibility Multiplier (0–2.5x) — Users with higher credibility scores earn more XP. Ranges from zero for untrusted users to a significant bonus for the most reputable. See "What is the credibility multiplier?" for details.
Streak Multiplier (1–2.75x) — Consecutive days of meaningful activity earn increasing multipliers. Miss a day and your streak resets, though you can pay XP to preserve it. See "What is the streak multiplier?" for details.
Validator Bonus (+0.1x per NFT) — Validator NFT holders receive earning bonuses proportional to their holdings.
Delegation Bonus (1.2x) — Users who delegate their earning potential to validators receive a 1.2x bonus on all their earnings.
How stacking works
Because multipliers combine multiplicatively, the differences between users can be significant. A user with strong credibility, a long streak, validator holdings, and active delegation can earn several times more than a user with identical base positions but no multipliers.
This is intentional. The alternative — flat rewards regardless of commitment — advantages extractive behavior over genuine contribution. The multiplier system ensures that users who invest in their reputation, show up consistently, and participate in governance are the ones who benefit most.
Why this matters for new users
New users start with modest multipliers that grow as they establish track records. You won't have a 2.5x credibility multiplier on day one, and that's by design — it advantages long-term participants over newcomers attempting to extract value quickly. But the path to stronger multipliers is straightforward: build credibility, maintain your streak, and participate consistently.
