An Ethos profile
Since season 2 has ended you no longer need XP to request Human Verification.
Step 1: Request verification
Submit a Human Verification request from your Ethos profile. Your request is now visible to other people who can verify you.
Step 2: Sign self-declared bond
After requesting verification you will need to sign the self-declared bond. You can do this later as well but without doing this you will not be able to get verified.
The self-declared bond you will have to sign on Ethos:
I declare I am a singular human controlling this Ethos profile. I have no other Ethos profiles claiming to be human and will not create any. If this bond is successfully slashed, I will lose 800 credibility points and will not be eligible for human verification.
After signing this bond on your profile you will be able to complete human verification if you already have 3 verifications.
Step 3: Get verified by 3 other verified humans
Other Ethos users who are Human verified and have an Ethos score of more than 1600 can review your request and verify your humanity through one of three methods:
In-person meeting (strongest signal) — The verifier has met you face-to-face
Video call (strong signal) — The verifier has conducted a live video conversation with you
Voice call (standard signal) — The verifier has spoken with you by phone
Step 4: Receive your badge
Once 3 unique people have verified you, you achieve Human Verified status and receive your badge, credibility bonus, and access to verified-human features.
Good to know
Requests never expire. There is no timeout or deadline. If you're in a region with fewer people who may be able to verify you, you won't be penalized for a slower process.
Verification lasts 3 years before requiring renewal.
