Released 2026-10-15. Karma Season 1 is ready: when it opens on Oct 22, you earn karma from daily tasks, daily prizes and tips from other users. This release also sets the prize pool at 15,000 WHUF and fixes double signature prompts and stale balances.

Added

  • Earn karma in Season 1, which opens on Oct 22. If your score is above 1,300 and you finish every daily task bundle, you earn karma each day. Your credibility and streak multiply the reward. The most upvoted activities of each day also win daily karma prizes, and rewards are paid out shortly after the day ends.

  • Tip other users' reviews, vouches and posts with karma during the season. Each click on the tip button gives 5 karma, up to 100 a day. Tips come from a daily allowance, so your own karma total never goes down. You and the author both need a score above 1,300, and you can't tip yourself.

  • Several quick tips to the same post send the author one notification with the total, not one per click.

  • The karma page shows how much of your daily tipping allowance is left and updates as you tip. The daily tasks completion card shows your karma and counts down to the next payout.

  • Search engines and AI tools can now find and index Ethos profiles that have received reviews or WHUF vouches. People looking you up are more likely to find your Ethos profile.

Changed

  • The Karma Season 1 prize pool is now 15,000 WHUF, down from the 25,000 WHUF shown before. The karma page's explainer, season header and rules show the new amount.

Removed

  • XP tipping is gone, replaced by karma tips. The unused "Receiving XP" toggle is removed from settings. Your past XP tips stay in your history.

Fixed

  • Connecting X, Discord, GitHub or Telegram asks you to sign only once instead of two or more times.

  • After a sale or withdrawal in legacy markets, your wallet balance updates within a few seconds without reloading the page.

  • The Ethos wallet benefits panel in settings no longer opens with an "Enable wallet" button when your wallet is already enabled.
