The sale Terms & Conditions, in plain English

What the legal terms actually mean — a guide, not a substitute

The auction cleared at $4.20, so price guarantee redeems at 85%.

The Token Sale Terms & Conditions are the binding legal agreement for your purchase. This article translates the key terms — but the T&Cs themselves control if anything here differs. Read them before bidding.

Who you're contracting with

Your purchase agreement is with Ethos Token Ltd, a British Virgin Islands company and subsidiary of the Ethos Foundation (Cayman Islands). That entity conducts the sale and is your counterparty for the price guarantee.

The defined terms that matter

- Original Purchase Price — the uniform clearing price you paid in the auction. Every guarantee calculation runs off this number.

- Original Wallet Address — the wallet you purchased with. The guarantee is tied to it: keep your tokens and vouches there.

- Guarantee Period — the 30 days after TGE. Vouching your tokens during this window is what activates the repurchase right.

- Repurchase Period — from day 31 through the first anniversary of the end of the Guarantee Period. This is your ~12-month window to redeem.

- Repurchase Price — 85% of your Original Purchase Price, or 90% if your Original Purchase Price was equal to or greater than $7.50.

What the repurchase right requires

- Your tokens vouched during the Guarantee Period and continuously since — unvouching forfeits the right permanently, with no grace period

- Tokens lost to slashing are removed from the guarantee

- You still control your Original Wallet Address

- Identity verification (KYC/AML) at redemption

How to exercise it

Email redemptions@ethos-foundation.org within the Repurchase Period. Settlement is in USDC and may take up to 30 days from approval. Partial redemptions are allowed — the unredeemed portion keeps its guarantee.

What the T&Cs don't promise

No price predictions, no returns, no listing guarantees. The guarantee is a repurchase right under specific conditions — not insurance against every outcome. If you're unsure about any term, ask us before you bid, not after.
