v3.10.0: Daily tasks, redesigned around Karma
Daily tasks are now one guided run that shows your Karma reward up front. The Chrome extension sidebar also drops two retired rows.
v3.9.20: Clearer account wording and saved posts that stay readable
Settings now say "Disconnect" when you unlink an account, and reviews saved from X posts show the post's text even after X can't display it.
v3.9.19: Karma comes to your home sidebar, and buying WHUF with ETH works again
Your Karma standing now leads the home sidebar, slashes can be tipped, markets count toward score more easily, and buying WHUF with ETH works again.
v3.9.18: Announcements in your notifications and lifetime WHUF totals
Ethos announcements now reach your notifications, and the Whuffie drawer shows how much WHUF you have earned and burned over time.
v3.9.17: WHUF-first wallet balance, a cleaner feed and clearer karma history
Your Ethos wallet now leads with your WHUF balance, tips no longer crowd the main feed, and karma history shows times and days in your own time zone.
v3.9.16: Karma rewards arrive as soon as you finish your daily tasks
Your daily task Karma now pays out the moment you finish, saved posts count in your Given tab, and several fixes for profiles, and the extension.
v3.8.23: Faster WHUF unlock updates and several fixes
Ethos now picks up the WHUF token unlock within seconds and warns you about forfeiting your price guarantee earlier. This release also fixes sending WHUF, voting twice for a project, and connected accounts that could come unlinked.
v3.9.15: See the fees in your WHUF vouch total
The WHUF vouch total shows its fee breakdown again, so you can see what you pay in fees and how much goes into the vouch.
v3.9.13: Karma streak changes, a Validator bonus, and automatic WHUF guarantee claims
Validators now boost your Karma rewards, and the daily tasks Complete screen shows your streak as a journey with new milestones. Skipping every daily task now ends your streak. WHUF guarantee claims are recorded automatically when the treasury pays you.
v3.9.12: Karma now has its own page
The Karma tile in the menu now opens a dedicated Karma page for everyone, replacing the older Karma drawer.
v3.9.11: Karma Season 1 earning and tips, plus connection fixes
Karma Season 1 is ready: when it opens on Oct 22, you earn karma from daily tasks, daily prizes and tips from other users. This release also sets the prize pool at 15,000 WHUF and fixes double signature prompts and stale balances.
v3.9.10: Cleaner profile headers for long names
The Invite to Ethos button on profiles now lines up properly, even when a profile has a very long name.
v3.9.9: Karma history, richer profile previews for search and AI, and drawer fixes
You can now see where your Karma comes from, and Ethos profiles share more useful facts with search engines and AI assistants. This release also fixes review and slash drawers that kept old text, voting behind comments, and missing scores in X Chat.
v3.9.8: Cheaper markets, WHUF broker fees and fresher scores
Creating a market now costs 5 WHUF instead of 250, and premium Broker posts are paid in WHUF. Credibility scores for WHUF vouches now stay up to date, and the vouch drawer opens faster.
v3.9.7: Buy WHUF with ETH, and the price-guarantee window retires
You can now swap ETH for WHUF from the Whuffie drawer, and the price-guarantee screens are gone now that WHUF is unlocked. Swaps are also less likely to fail, and Broker and Slash duel images look more like you.
v3.9.6-hotfix: More reliable $WHUF swaps
Token swaps, including $WHUF buys, now get extra gas so they are less likely to fail on-chain. If a swap does fail, the swap drawer now tells you why.
v3.9.5: Fund your Ethos wallet from the trade page and see live WHUF prices
You can now move WHUF into your Ethos wallet straight from the trade page before you buy. Once WHUF transfers unlock, USD values for WHUF follow the live market price.
v3.9.4: Withdraw from legacy markets and WHUF markets everywhere
A new drawer lets you withdraw your funds and claim rewards from legacy markets before they leave the app. After the WHUF unlock, Ethos and the Chrome extension show WHUF markets in place of legacy ones, and more WHUF trades reach your feed.
v3.9.3: Refreshed karma explainer and WHUF conversion for ETH vouches
The karma explainer has a new look and updated wording. You can also convert your ETH vouches to WHUF again after Unlock.
v3.9.2: Smoother vouch conversions, more consistent X links, and a bulk addresses API
Converting an already-withdrawn vouch no longer gets stuck, and X profile links are recognized the same way everywhere. Developers get a bulk endpoint for profile addresses and clearer API docs.
v3.9.14: Clearer trade previews and a smoother streak animation
The trade screen now shows where a market's trust stands before and after your trade. The daily streak animation also matches the length of your streak, and WHUF payout claims now count the full amount you redeem.
v3.9.1: Farcaster sign-in removed and fewer duplicate notifications
Farcaster is no longer a way to log in or a social account you can connect. This release also stops some browsers from getting the same push notification twice and shows a clearer message when a wallet signature fails.
v3.9.0: Send WHUF from the Whuffie drawer and smoother vouching
You can send WHUF from the Whuffie drawer once transfers unlock. Vouching now picks the wallet that can cover your amount, and several vouch and profile display bugs are fixed.
