Yes. Ethos Trade has reputation markets, where anyone can buy trust or distrust on a person, trading with $WHUF. The trust price is a live, money-backed read on how much the market trusts that person.

How it works

  • Every market is about one person and has two sides: trust and distrust.

  • Anyone can create a market for any X account, for 5 WHUF. Each person has one market.

  • Markets have no end date. You sell whenever you want.

  • Trading fees are burned. Market creators don't earn anything from trades.

How it differs from reviews and vouches

Reviews are what people say. Vouches are money staked on a person for the long term. Markets are the price of trust right now, which makes them the fastest signal of the three and the easiest to read at a glance. Together they give a stranger three independent answers to the same question.

Common questions

  • Is it possible to close a market? No. Markets are permanent and public, like reviews.

  • Does the market affect the credibility score? Yes. Once a market has real trading activity, its trust price can raise or lower the score of the person it's about. See How Ethos Trade affects your credibility score.
