v3.9.7: Buy WHUF with ETH, and the price-guarantee window retires

Released 2026-10-12. You can now swap ETH for WHUF from the Whuffie drawer, and the price-guarantee screens are gone now that WHUF is unlocked. Swaps are also less likely to fail, and Broker and Slash duel images look more like you.

Added

• You can swap ETH for WHUF. Use the Buy button in the Whuffie drawer.

Changed

• Broker post images and Slash duel images use a new image model. They keep your avatar's likeness better, Broker images no longer show stray text, and duel images generate about twice as fast.

• Broker images now use varied camera framing and poses, so you no longer see the same desk-and-reaching-hand scene every time.

• Rewards claims are never locked. You can always claim your rewards.

• Buy and Send in the Whuffie drawer are always available, and the wallet button in the header always opens the Whuffie drawer.

• V1 vouches always show the Convert option.

• Old price-guarantee email links now open the Vouches drawer. Your guarantee amount still shows in the Vouches drawer and the auction-badge drawer.

Removed

• The price-guarantee banner, the "Lock in your price guarantee" drawer and the "Secure your price guarantee" button are gone, since WHUF is unlocked and the window can no longer open.

• The suggested vouchees carousel and the guarantee countdown in the Vouches drawer are gone.

Fixed

• WHUF swaps no longer run out of gas when prices move between the quote and the transaction. Swaps now get extra gas headroom.

• When a swap fails on-chain in the Whuffie drawer, you now see a clear message, such as "The swap ran out of gas. Try again."

• New vouch and market fees show as soon as they change on-chain, instead of after a delay of up to 12 hours for vouches and 1 hour for markets.

• The All slashes drawer no longer opens behind the menu, and the create-market drawer now closes properly when you close the menu.
