v3.9.18: Announcements in your notifications and lifetime WHUF totals

Released 2026-10-26. Ethos announcements now reach your notifications, and the Whuffie drawer shows how much WHUF you have earned and burned over time.

Added

• Announcements now appear in your notifications, so you see them even if you weren't on Ethos while they were live. A new Announcements switch in your settings lets you turn them off.

• The Whuffie drawer shows lifetime Earned and Burned tiles. Earned counts WHUF you claimed from rewards plus WHUF still waiting to be claimed. Burned counts fees from vouching, reviews and markets.

Changed

• The Whuffie drawer's explainer no longer says Broker fees burn WHUF, and your WHUF history shows exact amounts.

Fixed

• WHUF sent from a connected wallet now uses a proper network fee, so transfers no longer sit pending in wallets like Rabby.

• EthosAgent save cards show the saver's display name instead of only their X handle.

• The karma leaderboard and yesterday's awards show placeholders while loading, so the page no longer jumps.

• In the Chrome extension, avatars in X Chat get scores again, both on the chat page and in the docked chat drawer.

• In the Chrome extension, X message requests show the sender's score again.

• The Chrome extension no longer recalculates scores on every reload, new tab or page change.
