Released 2026-10-05. Farcaster is no longer a way to log in or a social account you can connect. This release also stops some browsers from getting the same push notification twice and shows a clearer message when a wallet signature fails.

Removed

  • You can no longer log in with Farcaster. You can still log in with a wallet, X, Discord or GitHub.

  • You can no longer connect a Farcaster account to your profile. Existing Farcaster connections no longer show on profile cards or in contacts. Past "Farcaster connected" activity still appears in history.

  • The share-to-Farcaster buttons are gone from share options.

Fixed

  • Some browsers received every push notification twice. Each notification now arrives only once.

  • When your wallet returns an invalid or mismatched signature, you now see a clear "Signature failed" message instead of a generic error.
