Getting verified as a curator

The Ethos badge, a monthly USD rate on top of reach points, and how the team decides who gets it.

Ethos Curators Updated Oct 30, 2026 1 min read

Verified curators carry the Ethos badge on the leaderboard and the Ethos tag on X, and they are paid a monthly USD rate on top of their reach points.

It isn't something you apply for

The team has to trust you, and the way they get to know you is the same way everyone else does: your rounds as a curator. When that's you, the team reaches out. Until then, the leaderboard is the application.

What the team looks for

  • Consistency. Posting about Ethos across rounds, not one good week.
  • Your own words. Takes that are clearly yours, that people with real credibility reply to and quote.
  • A clean record. Every post labelled, no flags, nothing bought.
  • Standing on Ethos. A score that holds up, vouches from people who count, no slashes.

What changes once you're verified

  • Your reach points work exactly as before.
  • A fixed monthly USD rate is paid alongside them.
  • The badge shows next to your name on the board and on your curator page.
