How curator payouts work

Rounds, the review period, the private payout estimate, and getting your $WHUF on Base.

Rounds

Rounds run about 30 days. Every round starts from zero: new board, new race, new payout. Your reach points update every hour while the round is open.

When the round closes

  1. Reach points freeze. Nothing after the close counts toward that round.
  2. Review. The Ethos team goes through flagged activity: click bursts, referrer-less traffic, posts without the paid partnership label. Excluded clicks and posts earn nothing. See Curator fair play.
  3. Results are final. The leaderboard shows reach points; what each curator earns in $WHUF stays private.
  4. Payout. $WHUF is sent on Base. Your round history on your curator page links to each payout transaction.

Curators with fewer than 50 reach points in a round aren't paid for it.

How much a reach point is worth

Each campaign pays from its own pool. During the beta season the amount per reach point is set when the season closes, from what everyone earned, and becomes the baseline afterwards. My stats shows a private payout estimate once a rate exists.

Where it goes

$WHUF goes to the first address on your Ethos profile, or to any Base address you set under Where the $WHUF goes on My links. You can change it any time before the round closes. No address on your profile? Set one there before the close or the payout can't be sent.

Verified curators

Verified curators are paid a monthly USD rate on top of their reach points. See Getting verified as a curator.

Other projects' campaigns

A campaign run by another project pays in that project's token, from its own pool, at its own rate. Your curator page shows payouts across every campaign you're in.
