Released 2026-10-29. Project sentiment and leaderboard categories are gone, so Most credible is now one overall ranking. You can also tip reviews right from your daily tasks.

Added

  • Review cards in your daily tasks now have a tip button, so you can tip a review's author without looking for the review in the feed. Spam checks don't get the button.

Changed

  • The Most credible leaderboard now shows one overall ranking instead of picking a category. The tabs are now Most credible, Least credible and Contributors. Old category links open Most credible.

Removed

  • Project sentiment is retired. Its pages, the Sentiment menu items, the trending Sentiment ticker and the bullish, bearish and team badges on project comments are gone. Old project links now go to that account's Ethos profile. Review sentiment isn't affected.
  • The Ethos Everywhere extension (version 1.15.13) no longer shows the bullish/bearish row on X profiles. The market row is still there.
  • Apps built on the old projects API stop working, because those endpoints have been removed.
  • Leaderboard categories no longer appear anywhere on the site. That includes the category grid, the category picker, the leaderboard search box, category rank pills on profile highlights and category ranks on daily task profile cards.
  • The Suggest button at the bottom of category leaderboards is gone.

Fixed

  • Vouch guarantee updates involving WHUF stopped processing after a WHUF burn on October 27. They are running again and will catch up.
  • The Ethos Everywhere extension keeps showing the top-vouch banner after an upcoming backend change.
