Why did my credibility score change unexpectedly after Human Verification?
Human Verification awards a flat +100 credibility bonus. If your score changed by a different amount, it's because other score factors updated at the same time — not because your verification was incomplete.
The most common cause is the Influence Handicap. This is a penalty of up to -300 points that applies when your credibility score is significantly higher than your social influence level. If your score is 1,400 or above (Known tier), the handicap may have already been factored in when your score refreshed after verification. Below 1,400, it has no effect.
Other factors like vouches, reviews, or market activity can also shift your score independently. Importantly, your credibility score only updates after activity occurs on your profile — so any pending changes (such as an Influence Handicap adjustment) may not reflect until something triggers a recalculation, like completing Human Verification.
If your profile shows Human Verified, you received the full +100. Any unexpected difference is due to other factors updating at the same time, not an issue with your verification.
